Am 02.12.2016 veröffentlichen The Last Shadow Puppets „The Dream Synopsis EP“. Die 6 Songs umfassende EP nahmen sie innerhalb eines Tages in den Future-Past Studios in Hudson, NY auf. Sie enthält neben den neu eingespielten Albumlieblingen „Aviation“ und „The Dream Synopsis“ vier Coverversionen, die sie auch schon während ihrer Sommer Tour live zum Besten gaben.
